today was our life science business plan semi finals! the 5 of us (li choo, sophia, pearlyn, elissa, ME!) skipped the last period. but sadly for me, pearlyn and elissa, we skipped CE. so it was quite a waste :) we were getting ready in science lab 5 and then we left at about 1.15pm to Ngee Ann Poly. we forced lichoo to take Mrs Logan's car together with all our barang barang in her back seats, then the other 4 of us to a cab! lichoo was whining. hohoho

today was ngee ann poly's open house so the whole school was like so darn packed and we were one of the very few people wearing blazers so a lot of people was staring at us. anyway, when we reached there, we realised that another school, bedok view or something like that was also doing activated charcoal toothpaste! urgh. we were quite bothered by that but obviously, we had a edge over them because we had 3-in-1 products! the tooth powder, toothpaste and mouthwash! haha. too bad for them mannn.

then we set up our stuff on our booth and put our very impressive printed poster on the stand. other schools (about 30 odd or so) were busy sticking peices of paper on the stand. some actually looked quite nice but others were kind of weird haha. okay i know i'm mean, but i'm just being FRANK.

haha. okay enough of photos. the judging went on pretty well and stuff and we had this pregnant judge who was laughing throughout the previewing of our advert. it was really amusing. at about 5, i met yihui, reshma, nora, cecilia and jiahui because they were also at ngee ann poly attending a briefing for the science mentorship programme. me, yihui, resh and jiahui took 74 to dover mrt. to be exact, we took two 74 buses to the mrt cause yihui thought that the stop before the mrt was the one we were supposed to alight at. haha. and beforei could board the second bus, i fell and cut my leg quite deeply. pffft. stupid high heels. the blazer was super thick and i was not allowed to take off my jacket without removing my tie so in order to save the hassle, i wore my jacket and heels in the sweltering Hot weather :D

ohyes! today during Lit, mrs lim made me, denyse and kexin act as geishas in Japan speaking the first ten lines of act one scene one in macbeth. it was terribly silly and hilarious and i was super embarrassed. then after we presented, she made us speak like Japanese Men -.- we were kind of dumbfounded but i guess we pulled it off nicely haha :)
